NEW NETWORKING GROUP LAUNCHES IN OXFORD

Sterling Networks is delighted to announce the successful launch of their new Oxford Lunch Business Networking Group on 31st March. Even with so much uncertainty within the business community, due to coronavirus, the launch of the newest group adds to the rapidly expanding Sterling Networks, with a hive of activity at their first virtual meeting via Zoom.

The launch meeting which took place last week, was hosted by Sterling Networks Group Leader, Paul Jarvis, and saw 24 members and visitors from a wide range of businesses, start conversations, embracing the tried and tested Sterling meeting structure. The new Oxford Lunch networking group meets every 2 weeks on Tuesday lunchtimes from Noon to 2pm, at the Cotswold Lodge Hotel, Oxford.

Tracey Davis, Co-Founder and Sales Director at Sterling Networks explains, “We were unsure if the launch of our new group in Oxford would go ahead due to the COVID-19 crisis but the momentum and the enthusiasm of the new group members was so positive, that we just couldn’t cancel. The energy in the meeting was like that of any other networking group launch we’ve had to date!”.

Tracey adds, “Keeping businesses connected and looking forward is our prime objective at Sterling. We’re thrilled with the successful launch of our new networking group, Oxford Lunch, and we continue to help support businesses in Oxfordshire in whatever way we can”.

Sterling Networks, who now have over 270 members across 18 groups in the Midlands, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and the South West, launched Sterling Virtual in March, in response to the restrictions put in place due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sterling Networks also have more new groups launching over the following months. Keeping the business community talking, through networking, also provides invaluable resources for advice surrounding financial assistance and mental wellbeing, during a very daunting time.
