Sterling Networks Partners with Warriors Women

Sterling Networks is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Warriors Women rugby team. The recent journey of the Worcester Warriors has been marked by challenges and setbacks. However, from these dark clouds, a shining silver lining has emerged in the form of the Warrior’s Women. As one of the ten premiership teams in the country, the team’s sheer determination, coupled with the support of the rugby management team and local businesses, has enabled them not only to survive but to compete fiercely in the 2022/2023 season, currently securing the 5th position.

Championed by local business Cube, the Warriors Women are actively engaged in discussions to secure international partnerships that will ensure the long-term sustainability of the club. However, the immediate focus lies on the present challenges. The club aims to raise £50,000 to sustain its operations until the start of the new season, allowing the business team to concentrate their efforts on securing long-term funding. By supporting the Warriors Women, Worcestershire can make a significant contribution to the only Premiership rugby club in the West Midlands and preserve the true legacy of the Worcester Warriors.

Sterling Networks recognises the reputational damage the Warriors brand has endured over the years. Nevertheless, this presents an opportune moment for the community to come together and provide substantial support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will play a crucial role in ensuring the Warriors Women conclude this remarkable season successfully. It will also ensure they remain well-prepared, adequately funded, and physically fit to embark on an exciting five-year journey of RFU PR 15’s Rugby.
