WORCESTERSHIRE EDUCATION NETWORK MERGES WITH STERLING NETWORKS

Sterling Networks have announced they have taken over the Worcestershire Education Network, which supports schools, colleges and universities across the County with a trusted range of businesses working with the educational sector.
The Worcestershire Education Network (WEN) was founded in 2015 as a group of local businesses with national reach, having key aims of providing a trusted network of educators, suppliers, and manufacturers who specialise in delivering high quality and bespoke solutions. They pride themselves in providing a local trusted personal service, where members sign up to a Code of Conduct, and always pursue best practice.
The addition of WEN into the Sterling Networks offering is a timely move as their experienced networking and events team will help drive this unique support forward for the education sector across the County, with the ‘support local’ ethos that has become increasingly important with current financial pressures.
Neil Davis, Founder and Managing Director at Sterling Networks explains, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome the Worcestershire Education Network members to Sterling. With a fresh new rebrand, the network will now be known as the Sterling Education Group.”
Mike Wilson, commented on behalf of the WEN Directors and says, “We all remain both committed to the original Educational Support concept and excited by Neil and the Sterling teams shared enthusiasm and drive to deliver on the original WEN founding principles. To which end the regular monthly meetings will recommence at lunchtime on the second Wednesday of each month, starting in January 2023.”
The newly named Sterling Education Group will work together to provide holistic support for schools, colleges, and universities, as well as helping members to make new connections and start conversations in the local area. Plus, the group also provides help for the educations sector, ensuring that projects are handled smoothly and effectively, helping to build strategic visions for the future, including help with grant funding and fundraising.
Sterling Networks, which was founded 11 years’ ago, is proud to be one of Worcestershire’s leading networking organisations, has expanded their groups and exhibitions across the Thames Valley, Wiltshire, the South West and the Midlands.
